The small distributors are available in two different materials to suit different installation locations. The professional quality housing is made from robust polystyrene. For even greater stability and safety, opt for the  polycarbonate (PC) distributors.

Impact-resistant plastic

These polycarbonate small distributors protect electrical installations even when under extreme strain. They can withstand harsh cleaning agents, cold and heat, and knocks and impacts in industrial settings and public places. With a  protection rating of IP66, the small distributors additionally provide protection against powerful water jets and dust. This means that the product range is suitable for any applications, even in covered outdoor locations.

Thanks to the use of high-quality special plastics, the new OBO SDB series can satisfy all the requirements for modern small distributors. In addition, it allows simple and particularly flexible installation and practical details. The housings can be attached using internal, external or corner fastenings, as required. A robust closing contour of the cover guarantees easy opening and closing. The supplied self-adhesive pictograms ensure clear labelling of the installation.

The four sizes with three, fivenine or twelve division units offer flexible installation space for devices on hat rails. The high-quality polycarbonate distribution boxes are supplied with innovative PE/N screwless terminals. These possess a 25 mm² and 16 mm² screw terminals and two 4 mm² and twelve 2.5 mm² screwless terminals. The craftsman quality distributors are available with the known OBO screw terminals.
