The high amount of holes means that they can also be used beneath sprinkler systems. Installed above fire protection ceilings, the Magic® trays, which are suitable for the maintenance of electrical function, make a major contribution to the securing of escape and rescue routes in case of fire.
- Antibacterial sheet steel and aluminium trunking: OBO sheet steel and aluminium trunking can be coated with a special power coating, which has an antibacterial action, even against tough germs. They are suitable for use in doctors’ surgeries, hospitals or care facilities, where they can help to reduce the risk of infection.
- Cable systems approved for the maintenance of electrical function: Together with the special cables for the maintenance of electrical function, the Magic® cable tray system forms cable systems tested and approved for the maintenance of electrical function in case of fire. This means that key systems, such as escape route lighting, alarm and signal systems or fire brigade lifts, can continue to function for up to 90 minutes, even if there is a fire. Essential minutes for the safe evacuation of injured people from the building!
- Lightning and surge protection: According to the lightning protection risk analysis, hospitals are evaluated as having the highest protection requirements. This protection is offered by the OBO lightning and surge protection systems, whose interactions are coordinated perfectly. These include air-termination and conductor systems, equipotential bonding systems, earthing systems and integrated lightning and surge protection.
