Q: How do I sign up for an event?

You can sign up for events at the OBO Academy either online via our website or in writing using the registration forms available to you. The incoming registrations are reviewed in the order of their arrival up to the maximum number of participants.

Q: Will I receive a confirmation of registration?

If your registration is successful, you will receive a written registration confirmation from us. Registration is binding.

Q: Is there a deadline to register for events at the OBO Academy?

The regular registration period for any event is 14 days before the start of the event.

Q: When are the participation fees for the training courses due?

Our prices do not include statutory VAT. The seminar fee must be paid on receipt of the invoice, i.e. before the start of the seminar, and its payment is the precondition for participation in the event.

Q: What services do the participation fees include?

If not expressly stated in the appropriate event description, the participation fees contain the following services: catering according to the seminar period, refreshments, documents to accompany the seminar, working materials and a participation certificate. The costs for accommodation, arrival and departure are to be paid by the course participants themselves.

Q: Will I receive a certificate of participation?

After completion of the training course, each participant will receive a certificate about their participation in the event. Please note: This certificate does not authorise you to pass on the knowledge obtained on this training course to third parties as a service.

Q: Can I change or cancel my registration?

Each course participant shall be authorised to name a replacement participant up to one day before the commencement of the course, stating their name and address. This rebooking shall be free of charge for the participant. In addition, the participant shall be permitted to cancel their booked courses in writing free of charge up to 14 calendar days before the commencement of the course. In the case of cancellations arriving later, or should the participant not turn up, the entire participation fee is to be paid.

Q: How will my personal data be stored?

The collection, saving and further processing of your personal data are fully subject to the conditions of the German Data Protection Act. You can find detailed information on this subject in our data protection declaration.

Recognised by the e-academy of the ZVEH Central Association of the German Electrical and Information Technology Trades: Our OBO seminars for installation engineers and technicians have been recognised by ZVEH (E-Akademie of Zentralverband der Deutschen Elektro- und Informationstechnischen Handwerke) and certified by them. With their participation certificate, E-Mark companies can prove their quality credentials for the E-Mark. In the context of this certification, you, as a participant, can collect points. The number of points you can collect is dependent on the length of the individual seminar (4 hours = 4 points, 8 hours = 8 points)
