Netiquette at OBO Bettermann
Dear user,
Thank you for visiting our page!
All it takes to post something on the Internet is a few clicks. But before liking or commenting on a post, it’s worth considering whether the post really makes sense or could even be harmful.
We look forward to engaging with you on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, XING and YouTube. In the interest of respectful discussions, we would like to lay out some guidelines for a friendly environment:
We look forward to:
- Respectful, friendly dialogue;
- Consideration for one another and tolerance of other opinions;
- Posts you create using your real name. Please do not pretend to be someone else;
- Constructive and inspiring posts;
- Objective criticism and feedback.
What we will not accept, in everyone’s interest:
- Falsehoods, insults, slurs, threats, attacks on human rights, content harmful to young people and any type of pornographic content;
- Violations of the privacy of other users;
- Racist, radical right-wing content or content glorifying violence;
- Sensitive internal company information;
- Spam or advertisements of any kind;
- Posts violating copyright, abusive criticism or false allegations.
We ask all users to follow these rules. Comments or posts that violate these guidelines will be deleted as soon as we become aware of them. Despite regular monitoring by OBO, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that contents going against our netiquette guidelines will not appear on our pages. We would therefore like to emphasise that we do not accept any liability despite all our monitoring and efforts.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us: socialmedia@obo.de.
Thank you for your understanding.
