Design and functionality unified in one system – that is the Rapid 80 device installation trunking. Thanks to the consistent standardisation of the system components, you can use the three types of trunking – in plastic, aluminium or sheet steel – as individual variants or in combination. The accessory parts and variable fittings are compatible with all versions.
The Rapid 80 versions in black offer even more variety of use. This means that installations can also be implemented in design-orientated environments, such as modern offices or exhibition spaces, in an aesthetically pleasing manner. One of our strengths is the ability to harmonise functionality and design. This is why the black design colour is now a standard for our Rapid 80 trunking.
All the Rapid 80 device installation trunking shares the 76.5 mm internal system opening. This means that sockets, data technology elements and small switch ranges with large external radii can be inserted without visible gaps. It’s the ideal solution for all areas where you have a lot to install.

Strong design, first-class processing
Rapid 80 combines straightforward design and the highest quality with ideal handling in terms of customisation and processing. The trunking covers are available in smooth, fluted or transparent versions.
The Rapid 80 sheet steel range is available in pure white as standard and in black as a special version. In the aluminium variant, the product range is available in the colours pure white and aluminium anodised, and also in the special version black. Two trunking heights and four trunking widths are available. The trunking can be implemented in a wide range of special colours for even more individual room designs. Powder coating means that all RAL colours are possible.
Halogen-free versions of the Rapid 80 are available as an option. If there is a fire, they prevent the creation of toxic smoke gases.
Covers for backlighting make the Rapid 80 the highlight of the room
Not only the versions in the trend colour black, but also the translucent covers of the Rapid 80 series offer attractive design options. Lighting elements can be integrated simply into the 76.5 mm-large system openings. In combination with covers in a clear or opal look, discreet and indirect lighting effects can also be created.

Transparent or opal – the choice is yours
The covers are available in two variants, whereby the transparent version has longitudinal fluting inside. The opal model is smooth and the translucent look provides atmospheric accents. The covers, made from polycarbonate, are easy to handle and are available in 2,000 millimetre lengths.
Our tip: The use of coloured lighting offers even more opportunities for the individual wall design.
Floor supports from OBO – a popular feature in modern office buildings
In modern office buildings, glass fronts create visual highlights. But this produces special requirements for supplying workstations, as there are no fixing points for the device installation trunking. OBO has the solution:
Floor supports you can position anywhere in the room. They allow cable routing using sheet steel or aluminium device installation trunking (130 mm, 170 mm and 210 mm), thus guaranteeing connections to workstations. The floor supports are available in varying heights of between 400 m and 900 mm. The standard colour is RAL 9010 pure white. Other RAL colours can also be supplied on request. This means you will always have a solution that’s as functional as it is visually appealing.
Our tip: We recommend not mounting the sheet steel version of the Rapid 80 in front of window surfaces due to the grid perforation on the rear side of the trunking. The Rapid 80 aluminium is suitable for this application.
