But what is a cable support system actually? According to DIN EN 61537, a cable support system is used to carry and accommodate cables or wires. The system enables the use of electrical equipment in electrical installations or in communication systems. However, a cable support system can also be used, for example, to separate and arrange cables into groups. The systems are installed on ceilings, walls or floors. Steel or stainless steel are usually used as the material, which are refined with various galvanisation methods such as electrogalvanisation, strip galvanisation or hot-dip galvanisation for optimal corrosion protection.
