Schiller high school in Offenburg

Project description

As part of a conversion and expansion of the Schiller high school in Offenburg, the science rooms of the school were redesigned and upgraded with new technical equipment. The teacher and administration area also received upgrades. Media poles from OBO were also installed during renovation of the high school, where 42 classes and around 990 students come to learn. One key factor that led the city of Offenburg, as the client of this project, to choose OBO media poles was their ability to be adapted to the room geometry.

The requirements for equipping training facilities and classrooms are high, rising constantly with the progressing of digitalisation. These requirements also have to be met in new buildings or renovations, such as at Schiller high school. The combination of individual equipment and centrally controlled systems, as is often required in schools, can be implemented optimally with media and communication poles. From the securing of electrical systems, individual light control, accessing information from central communication and emergency call systems, through to displaying the time – the media poles rise to every challenge. Thanks to its modular design, the media poles are absolutely flexible, adaptable and universally usable.
