The LDLC Arena is intended to be the largest event venue outside Paris and, each year, host 80 to 120 events. In future, the RKS-Magic® cable trays and the GR-Magic® mesh cable trays will ensure the safe routing of power and data.

The LDLC Arena, located close to the French city of Lyon, is a multipurpose hall, which is privately financed and has been created next to the football stadium of football club Olympique Lyonnais. In future, the RKS-Magic® cable trays and the GR-Magic® mesh cable trays will ensure the safe routing of power and data.

Project description

The LDLC Arena, located close to the French city of Lyon, is a multipurpose hall, which is privately financed and has been created next to the football stadium of football club Olympique Lyonnais.

In February 2019, Jean-Michel Aulas, Owner and President of Olympique Lyonnais, made known plans for the construction of a multipurpose hall alongside the stadium.In July 2021, Olympique Lyonnais charged the architecture office Populous and Citinea, a subsidiary of the French construction group Vinci, with the order of drafting and constructing the multipurpose hall.

General building information

The hall will offer space for 12,000 people for sporting events and for 16,000 people for concerts and shows.

It is intended to be the largest event venue outside Paris and, each year, host 80 to 120 events, such as concerts, sporting and esport competitions, seminars and trade fairs.

The raw structure was completed in February 2023.This was followed by the roof being added to the hall.
