The new X series from OBO Bettermann impresses even in the toughest conditions
Robust, versatile and tested in real-life practical situations – the new X series by OBO Bettermann offers a range of junction boxes and empty housings that withstand even the most severe loads. Due to the use of special plastics based on high-quality polycarbonate, the X series meets the requirements of the highest impact resistance of IK09.
The material of the X series is UV-resistant, impact-resistant and halogen- free, making the X series highly suitable for both indoor and unprotected outdoor use.
Tough against blows and impacts
The junction boxes made from polycarbonate protect electrical installations against severe mechanical loads with a protection class of IK09 – you really can rely on the X series from OBO Bettermann.
But the junction boxes are also suitable for unprotected outdoor applications. High-quality plastics based on polycarbonate are exclusively used in the new X series. This means that the X series meets all the requirements asked of a modern connection box.
Practically oriented installation
The X series impresses through its functional and well thought-out design and has also been tested and approved in real-life applications. It offers a large space for cables as well as simple and particularly flexible fastening. The junction boxes can be mounted with inner, outer or corner fastening.
The junction boxes are available in seven sizes, four colours and two versions – with break-out points or as a closed empty housing.
Screw covers, plug-in seals and external fastening elements are already included in the delivery of the X series junction boxes. In addition, the X series offers a wide range of accessories, which allows easy and individual refitting at a later stage.
The X series junction boxes have already been tested in real-life applications and are certified to DIN EN 60670 Parts 1 and 22, thus providing extremely reliable protection in addition to their great versatility.
